Manager, Substation Construction Maintenance

Job description

Basic Purpose Responsible for establishing Substation Construction and Maintenance philosophy, standards and procedures for supervisors, inspectors, administrators, trainers, groundsmen and construction and maintenance crews. Supervises all personnel and responsible for managing construction costs and schedule by efficiently scheduling crews and interfacing with Engineering, Project Management and various construction departments. Ensures safe, efficient, effective, and courteous service to our customers who depend on a reliable supply of electricity. Effective leadership of this area is vital to the company’s ability to provide quality customer services, as well as maintain and promote improved customer relations, understanding and positive, lasting impressions. Participates in the design engineering and project management activities associated with substation construction and maintenance.
