Job Summary: As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be trained in installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and composite parts. You will play an integral role creating and constructing the world's best-selling general aviation aircraft, though you do not need any aviation experience to succeed at Cirrus. However, with experience, you could earn a higher starting wage. Two targeted promotions within your first year if starting at the Training Rate (TR). $2K Sign-on eligible until further notice. Schedule: This is a first shift position M-Th; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Overtime as required Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions: - Learn to inspect, build and install aircraft components - Develop early skills in how to inspect, build and install aircraft components - Start reading and understanding process instructions, engineering drawing and specifications - Assemble items using written and visual instructions - Learn about parts, parts fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance complies with design requirements to gain confidence and familiarity - Understand importance of cleaning, set up and use of bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures - Begin skills in insta...
