Description The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of ovarian cancer development and progression with a focus on tumor microenvironment and the emerging role of innervation on tumor biology. A strong background in molecular biology, drug development, mouse models, and cancer genomics is required. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of postdoctoral training. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D degree. Responsibilities may include performing in vivo and in vitro experiments, data analysis, writing grants, progress reports, and manuscripts for publication, and participating in Center activities.
