Job description

Lead the technical aspect of the Annual Exterior Color Program Support the Advanced Process Topcoat Specialist - Manage new MY color development for manufacturing within cross-functional teams to establish timing responsibilities, facility requirements, and launch - Provide test procedures and assess test results for new and carryover colors - CCPS (Critical Color Property -Submission, DOE, PSM (Process Simulation Matrix), and cross-functional risk assessment - Work with PDO, Plant, Brand and Program Management to develop color launch timelines for each new color at all NA Paint Shops. - Numerical Official Standard creation and database maintenance - Provide direction for color harmony on new and carryover colors. - Support the launch of new colors at plants. - Support new material development. - Review changes to existing materials. - Provide technical support for topcoat issues. - Support appearance initiatives - Developing new processes to improve efficiencies (costs, FTC, appearance) and participate in paint tech clubs, benchmarking, competitive review, DOE’s, and process simulations at suppliers as required. - Support process development for new model programs by participating...
