Job description

VHIR is offering a vacancy for a Clinical Researcher to join the the Liver Diseases Research Group. Our group investigates the mechanisms involved in chronic liver diseases, with a special interest in MASLD (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease) and ALD (alcoholic liver disease). The work combines basic, translational and clinical research to identify biomarkers, new therapeutic targets and prevention strategies. Main responsibilities and duties: Participate as a sub-investigator in Hepatology clinical trials as well as observational studies. Support ongoing research projects within the group Collaborate with the clinical team in the coordination and execution of research studies. Assist the clinical team in the tasks necessary for the development of studies Required: Medical Degree (M.D.) Completed residence in either Internal Medicine or Digestive disease (MIR) Fluency in Catalan and Spanish: Working proficiency in English: Required: Experience in managing patients with advance liver disease Desirable: Experience with SAP management program Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Experience with REDCap databases: Labour conditions: Worki...
