Description Stephenson Equipment, Inc (SEI), an industry leader in Pennsylvania, New York, Mayland, and D.C, providing sales, rentals, parts and service for construction equipment, cranes, paving, road building and road maintenance equipment, has an immediate need for a Crane Field Service Technician in our McDonald, PA location. Purpose: Diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical and pneumatic cranes used in the construction industry. Essential Functions: · Repair and replace damaged or worn parts · Operate and inspect cranes in order to diagnose defects · Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications · Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices · Dismantle and reassemble cranes using hoists and hand tools · Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on cranes · Comply with all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE · Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges · Schedule maintenance for cranes and keep equipment service rec...
