Job description

The Academic General Pediatric Practice (AGP) at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH) is adding an additional BC/BE Pediatrician with a passion for an academic setting. The new partner will enjoy working in the residency practice teaching the variety of 80+ residents (includes categorical pediatrics, medicine-pediatric and child neurology residents) alongside 7 academic pediatric partners. Candidates for the position must enjoy teaching and mentoring of residents within the ambulatory setting and seeing their own panel of patients in a diverse setting with an eye for health equity. The new physician will spend approximately 50% of their clinical time precepting residents and 50% of their clinical time providing care to their own panel of pediatric patients. A portion of the FTE will be spent within the Autism evaluation clinic partnering with HDVCH pediatric psychology group. The new partner will obtain MSU faculty appointment and can anticipate access to support for academic, quality and scholarly projects.
