GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: The Mobile Trailer Technician II is expected to have mastered all applications of Preventative Maintenance and to perform basic and advanced adjustments, repairs and component replacements with limited supervision on Class 7 and 8 trailers. Additionally, will perform basic diagnostic operations in order to successfully diagnose trailer system failures and suggest accurate system repairs. This technician will also work in the shop between service calls. They may also be asked to participate in the after-hour on-call rotation for the location, if needed. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Examine trailers to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s). - Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds all parts of trailer equipment - Provide customers with preventative maintenance solution, whenever appropriate. - Maintain 80% productivity - Prevent comebacks - Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of trailers and equipment. - Perform rou...
