Head of Service - Younger Adult, Learning Disability & Autism (LD&A) and Physical Disability & Sensory Impairment (PDSI) Permanent: Grade 7: £66,627 to £85,845: Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working hours: 36.5 hours per week Birmingham City Council is seeking an exceptional Head of Service to lead the Younger Adult, Learning Disability & Autism (LD&A) and Physical Disability & Sensory Impairment (PDSI) services through a critical period of redesign and transformation. This is a senior leadership role focused on designing and delivering a new service operating model for Younger Adults. Working closely with health and wider system partners, you will drive the delivery of modern, strengths‑based services that are safe, sustainable and outcome‑focused. You will provide confident leadership through complex change, balancing innovation with strong operational oversight, safeguarding assurance and performance management.
