Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting a Paralegal to support the Corporate, Securities and Government Investigations and Issues and Appeals teams. This position assists lawyers and non-attorney timekeepers with preparation of basic legal documents, routine legal research activities, and other tasks related to one or more of the firm’s legal practice areas under the frequent supervision of lawyers and more experienced paralegals. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Generates revenue by meeting billable hour and other timekeeping expectations set forth by the firm. Proactively secures billable work, which may require working across teams and offices. Maintains current and accurate daily time log; inputs time records into firm's time and accounting systems according to firm and outside counsel guidelines. Accounts for complete workday. - Follows the ethical requirements set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the State in which work is performed. - Basic knowledge and application of Federal, State and Local rules.
