We are searching for a skilled and meticulous Laboratory Automobile Mechanic to join our team at our world-class proving grounds facility. In this role, you will: - Play a vital role in supporting the testing and evaluation of vehicles and components - Prepare tests according to established procedures - Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of issues using specialized tools and equipment The Temporary Test and Development Mechanic - Safety Testing Mechanic will: - Use CAN diagnostic tools (CDA) to check-in vehicles and identify issues and flash software prior to testing - Perform repairs and modifications to vehicles as needed to address testing needs - Conduct tire mounting, balancing, and road force testing - Assist engineers with data acquisition and analysis during testing - Document test procedures, findings, and repairs in a clear and concise manner - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols - Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other team members Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Minimum TWO (2) years of auto service experience required - Strong overall vehicle...
