IT Business Operations, MGC 260002C2 Description Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC), the Business Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the Information Technology Services (ITS) team by collaborating with relevant departments (such as Finance, Legal and Human Resources) on procurements, accounts payable, operations processes, and procedures. This position is responsible for maintaining contracts, licenses, inventory, coordinating staff meetings, conducting training sessions, and conferring with other parties concerning accounting-related matters. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: · Collaborate with Finance department to resolve accounting discrepancies and/or obtain statistical data and documentation for various reports and/or projects · Prepare and maintain accounts and records such as purchase order database, contractor spending/invoicing, software licenses, asset inventory, maintenance contracts, etc. · Review IT procurement procedures to ensure conformance with established reporting requirements, compliance with Commission and statewide contracts using Commbuys...
