Job description

Job Summary: As part of our warehouse and delivery teams, you will use hand trucks and forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles and drive vehicles to delivery locations. Duties/Responsibilities: - Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, railroad cars, trucks, and storage areas. - Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day. - Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery. - Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made. - Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor. - Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed. - Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: - Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly. - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. - Ability to drive safely. - Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps. - Ability to maintain basic logs and records. - Ability to carry out a series of instructio...
