POSITION SUMMARY: Under medical supervision, provides medical and pelvic examinations for the purpose of assessing general health and eligibility for contraception; to ascertain pregnancy; and to ascertain the need for and provide therapeutic assistance for a determined range of infections and disorders. Provides educational and training services to staff and clients. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative (10%): •Participates in department and interdisciplinary committees which affect policies related to the role of the Advance Practice Clinician and delivery of health care to the customer. •Participates in agency quality risk management program. Under the direction of the regional VP and the physician leadership, implements overall quality assurance activities at the health centers. •Responds with other staff to community needs by participating in educational efforts. •As required by law, participates in Collaborative Agreement with Medical Director or another designated Physician. •Accepts individual and joint responsibility for and participates in health care center efforts to comply with all organizational and quality guidelines and all pertinent government...
