Working Title: Program Advisor, Leadership (Temporary) Classification Title: Student Services Professional II Position Details: Emergency Hire - Temporary position lasting at most 90 days with an option of being extended to 120 days. Position Summary: Under lead work direction of the Leadership Programs Coordinator, the Program Advisor, Leadership performs moderately complex professional student service work. Assignments typically require the application of both knowledge and judgment in using the principles, techniques, standards, guides and professional skills characteristic of a particular student service program or activity. This generally requires: planning; both interviewing and counseling techniques; judgment to recommend solutions to problems and changes in program procedures; and/or acting as spokesperson within the area of expertise. This role requires use of sound independent judgment while dealing with moderately complex student service problems.
