GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Responsible for the day to day operation inside the warehouse environment. Oversees a specific functional area within the warehouse. Leads, motivates, coaches and mentors our staff to achieve best in industry standards of excellence and performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, performance managing employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions and adhering to policies and procedures. - Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area within our 5S systems - Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety - Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications - Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems and identifying warehouse system improvements - Meets warehouse financial standards monitoring expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective acti...
