ECT Assistant

Job description

This role will require a minimum of two or more scheduled shifts per month based on operational needs. Job Summary: The Electroconvulsive (ECT) Assistant performs designated direct and indirect age-specific and developmentally appropriate patient care under the direct supervision of the ECT Relief Registered Nurse(RN) and ECT Manager; arranges all communications and activities related to patient care; performs secretarial and clerical aspects of patient care; participates in development of interdisciplinary treatment plan; follows policies, protocols, techniques, and guidelines; utilizes interpersonal skills to maximize customer service, safety, and professionalism; contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient and visitor population. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Successful completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program or completion of School of Nursing Fundamentals preferred.
