The AIC, or Alternative in the Community program is a community-based alternative to incarceration and provides multifaceted intervention services for offenders awaiting trial, or who are on probation or parole. The program uses Motivational Interviewing techniques and curricula-drive, evidence-based models designed to assess the needs of each client to reduce individual risk factors. As an Intervention Specialist, your role will be to facilitate positive change in client behavior through the facilitation of evidence-based group sessions based on assessments made through the use of motivational enhancement strategies. You will work closely with clients to help develop individual goals and make positive changes in their lives.
