Dock Foreman_NE-NSC_Thrift Store Department-402 JOB SUMMARY: Supervises and participates in the operation of the bailer and forklift; assists in selling rags and shoes; maintains the orderliness of the dock and dumpster area; maintains vehicles; repairs furniture and evaluates appliances in order to determine repairs needed and if materials can be sold in the Thrift/Family Store. Supervises and participates in the bailing and storing of rags; ensures the bailer is operated in a safe manner at all times. Supervises and participates in the handling of materials processed out of the store to be bailed. Evaluates appliances and other donated materials which have value in order to determine if materials are suitable for repair and can be sold through the Thrift/Family Store.
