Pharmacy Technician or Senior Tech - Clear Lake Campus (Days and Evenings) - ( 2602295 ) Description This is an open-pooled position. Applicants' education/experience will be considered and the position may be filled at a lower or higher level, as appropriate. Pharmacy Technologist: Minimum Qualifications: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Required: High school diploma or equivalent Required: - Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) - OR - Registered as a Pharmacist Intern with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ACPE approved IV (sterile products) certification Certified as a Pharmacy Technician by PTCB or NHA JOB DESCRIPTION: The Pharmacy Technologist assists Pharmacists in providing drug distribution, technical services, and clinical services associated with the preparation, storage and dispensing of pharmaceuticals. WORK SCHEDULE: Primarily Evening shift. Team members are expected to work at least one major holiday each year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's), and assist during emergency preparedness as part of the Ride Out or Recovery team.
