Overview The Clinical Associate is responsible for working directly with clinicians and staff to meet the needs of patients and their families within clinical programs. *Experience with EPIC highly desired Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the daily planning, management, and monitoring of patient flow through assigned clinics. Addresses scheduling problems, answers patient/family questions related to services being provided, resolves administrative or operational issues for clinical staff and ensures an efficient and smooth clinic operation.2. Collaborates with Care Center staff and clinicians to ensure that appointment reminder calls are confirmed, cancellations are rescheduled, “no shows” are addressed, and that every attempt is made to consistently maintain a full clinic schedule.3. Collaborates with Care Management staff to ensure that scheduled and waitlisted patients are cleared in a timely manner and patients are informed of benefit information when necessary.4. Works directly with clinicians and support staff to grow the patient population served and increase patient show rate.5.
