Department: 01220 AMG Edgerton - Internal Medicine Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: We are seeking an experienced MA/LPN for a 0.8 FTE. This position is an internal float position within the Med/Peds department. Hours will vary, 4, 8-hour days Mon-Thurs, 7am-5:15pm. Off every Friday Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Major Responsibilities: - Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care. - Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.). - Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered. - Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking.
