Con Edison Substation Operations Security is seeking a Senior Specialist to join its team supporting all Substation Operations departments in three key areas: (1) Program Management of All Substation Security Capital Projects; (2) logistics and inventory management of all Substation Security Equipment; and (3) intra- and cross-departmental collaboration including outside agencies such as PSC, DHS, and local authorities. Reporting directly to the Manager of Substation Operations Security, the Senior Specialist will have a strong team orientation which fosters an inclusive work environment; the ability to develop, coach and mentor Security Specialists; persistence in executing work assignments for a demanding operating group; an ability to harness data to make both strategic and tactical decisions; and communication skills which influence positive behaviors and outcomes.
