Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: Salary Range: 19.50 - 29.50 Union Position: No Department Details: Busy primary care practice. Majority of the time working with one provider but that changes based upon need. Typical schedule would be 4-10 hour days roughly 6:45-5:00. Depends on which provider you end up assigned to cover regularly. Summary: The Medical Assistant (MA) functions within the administration pre-defined scope of practice guidelines per state location of practice. Job Description: The MA in the ambulatory care setting collects subjective and objective health status data from the patient or caregiver and communicates this data to the health care provider.
