Fiber Optic Splicer

Job description

Qualifications: - Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing using industry-standard tools and equipment - Read and interpret construction prints, splice diagrams, and work orders - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fiber optic networks - Use OTDR, power meters, and other testing equipment to ensure quality and compliance - Maintain accurate project documentation and records - Follow all safety protocols and company policies - Travel to job sites as needed - Proven experience as a fiber optic splicer or related role - Proficiency in using OTDR, fusion splicers, and related tools - Ability to read and understand network diagrams and technical documentation - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions - Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
