Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for a local client in York, PA. Candidates who have a background working as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: - Machine repair and preventative maintenance - Completion of PM requirements on motors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment - Installation assistance on capital projects - Modification and installation of equipment or process improvements - Installation and startup of equipment - Facilities maintenance, e.g., building modifications, etc. - Ability to trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns - Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels - Must be able to work independently and adhere to established safety standards. - Interpret work instructions, work orders, read tape measure (standard and metric) and read other operational materials - Complete work order entry and close-out in the Maintenance work order system. - Other duties as assigned - Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting required, and familiar with at least two or more of the follo...
