Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: New York - New York, NY 10004Position Type: SeasonalEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NegligibleJob Shift: AnyJob Category: EducationPOSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision from the Director of Teens Summer Camps and the Technical Assistant (TA) Coordinator, the seasonal Technical Assistant (TA) will be responsible for supervising and advising campers in the production of digital film shoots by providing hands-on assistance with the safe operation of technical equipment, assisting in classroom needs for film, acting, photography and editing, and other day-to-day responsibilities to ensure the successful operation of the NYC Teens and Kids Summer Camp. New York Film Academy’s Teens and Kids Summer Camps provide intensive programs in filmmaking, acting, screenwriting, musical theatre, documentary, and photography for campers of ages 10 to 17 years old. TAs are “role model” figures for our energetic, artistic camper body, and must commit to helping maintain an educational, safe, and fun environment for the campers.
