JOB DESCRIPTION: At Abbott, we are committed to improving health and well-being worldwide through innovative diagnostic solutions. We are looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Technical Service team and support our customers with high-quality, reliable technical service. Primary Objective The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs), providing backup first-line (Level 1) service, and supporting instrument installations and deinstallations. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first-line technical service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours of labor) - Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities - Execute hardware and software upgrades (Technical Service Bulletins – TSBs) - Support instrument installations and deinstallations - Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction (NPS) , service KPIs, and the district’s economic growth and profitability Education: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required - Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in medical, electrical, mechanical engineering or medical technology preferred Experience & S...
