Yulista Contract Services LLC Regular: Primary Function: The Aircraft Mechanic I Structures is responsible for assessing aircraft damage and draft repair procedures to aircraft structural and composite components. Must be able to utilize advanced metalworking practices and techniques to form, cut, bend, and fasten new / repair components to damaged structures. Must be proficient in close tolerance drilling/reaming for installation of high-strength fasteners. Able to use powered / non-powered metalworking tooling and equipment. Essential Duties: - Inspect / assess damage to aircraft structural components and formulate proper repair/replacement procedures utilizing applicable technical data. - Remove and install close tolerance, high-strength fasteners in major aircraft structural components. - Advises on structural repair, modification, and corrosion protection treatment with respect to original strength, weight, and contour to maintain structural integrity. - Performs post repair flight control weight and balance functions as well as control surface rigging per designated technical orders. - Inspect components/repairs for structural serviceability according to specifications and te...
