Your Opportunity as a Wastewater Treatment Tech Ensure that pumps, conveyers, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment, and others wastewater treatment equipment are functioning properly. Monitor equipment for potential failures and may make minor repairs or adjustments as needed. Collect water samples for chemical analysis. Water and wastewater treatment plan and system operators manage a system of machines, often through the use of control boards, to transfer or treat water or wastewater.
