Job description

Position Responsibilities: Mentor junior machinists and support team development - Set up new and repeat parts, optimize and operate (when necessary) advanced CNC equipment (3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills) - Machine/monitor complex components to tight tolerances - Interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T requirements - Troubleshoot machining issues and implement optimization - Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and internal quality standards - Collaborate with engineering on process improvements Education: Must be knowledgeable with GD&T. - 10+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace/defense preferred) - Advanced multi-axis machining and strong G-code knowledge - Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and machining practices - Deep understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading - Experience with regulated environments (AS9100, NADCAP) - Proficiency with precision measuring instruments - High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
