Description The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Yale School of Medicine is expanding the clinical practice and seeks an outstanding Oculoplastics trained Ophthalmologist for an available position as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, the rank will be based on experience. The department is rapidly growing its clinical footprint and seeking a candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will grow a practice in oculoplastic surgery in New Haven , Guilford/Madison and Waterford, and operate at state of the art surgical centers that serve patients at those locations. The department has a long-standing tradition of excellence in clinical care and research in multiple subspecialty areas of ophthalmology. Our faculty provides clinical services for patients at Yale Medicine Ophthalmology, the Dana Clinic at Yale New Haven Hospital, and the West Haven Veterans Affairs Hospital. We have a strong and competitive residency program, which consists of 15 residents, along with two fellowship programs.
