Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor Shift: 2nd: Division: Logistics: Reports To: Logistics Manager: $60,000/Year - Dispatcher as needed will put rates in TMW or rate loads/negotiate rates with 3rd party carriers - Direct the daily driver duties managing where they go, the time it takes and when their day is concluded - Dispatchers will manage DOT compliance related to driver available hours of service when assigning loads and daily task. - Dispatchers are required to interact with internal and external customers as needed. As part of interaction and communication includes shift hand off communication between Dispatchers to ensure the business is operating without incidents or issues and Customers are being served. Communication is critical between Dispatchers and Logistics Managers and Regional Managers. - Enter POs as needed. - Participate and initiate discipline to drivers as per company policy - Review driver documents for accuracy and/or compliance - Involvement as needed with selecting external carriers to take loads - Dispatchers will be involved with payroll as needed to ensure Drivers are accurately compensated for work performed. - Dispatchers will be responsible for managing t...
