Job Overview: Provides direct patient care; demonstrates the knowledge, critical thinking and judgment of and integrates the use of evidence-based outcomes for Nursing practice; supervises care delivered; coordinates plan of care; provides education for patients, families and staff; and collaborates with other disciplines. Provides first and second assistance for the attending surgeon during indicated surgical procedures. Education: Associate’s degree - Required Completion of a Certified Operating Room First Assistant Course Work Experience: Minimum of three in a OR years relevant exp.
