Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: Under general supervision, performs plumbing work at the journey level. Supports the plumbing needs of the campus, to include maintenance of the University’s total underground and inside building distribution systems such as water, sanitary sewers and storm sewers with pipes ranging in diameter from 2” to 48”. Preferences: -High School diploma or GED preferred. Physical Demands: Must have the ability to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and machinery; to work at heights up to 20 feet; to manipulate heavy equipment, tools, and supplies and/or exert force up to 50 lbs. Regularly and 75 lbs. Occasionally; to work at depths of 20’; to shore and trench according to OSHA/MOSH regulations; to concurrently manipulate multiple controls or equipment and machinery; to work in hazardous or irritating environments (including raw sewage), confined spaces, and adverse weather or temperature conditions; to wear and work in personal protective equipment. Work hours are Mon-Fri. 7:00am-3:30pm. Incumbent is considered an Essential employee and is subject to a 24-hour day, 7 day week span of operation. Licenses/ Certifications...
