An opportunity exists for a physically fit, versatile handy person to join our team at our Depot located in Kenwick! The successful applicant must be an all-rounder willing to assist in ensuring the grounds and maintenance of the Depot are of a high standard. To be considered for this position, you must show you have had experience in a similar role. Your Duties Include: To Be Considered for This Role. - Container Unpacking. - Grounds Keeping; - Use of the Yard Sweeper; - Rubbish removal; - Pressure cleaning and hosing; - Undertake routine repairs, cleaning and maintenance of the facilities; - General skill set for maintenance work required; - Manual handling of freight; - General property maintenance; - Following safe operating procedures and complying with company policy. - Forklift Licence (highly desirable) - Experience in Transport and Logistics is highly regarded. - Be relatively fit as manual handling is required; - Honest, reliable, prompt and punctual; - Can work independently with minimal supervision; - Experience in general maintenance type roles – Trades background will be highly regarded; - Ability to read and write and understand units of measure; - Have your own car...
