H2M’s Industrial Hygiene and Forensics team supports clients, insurers, and project partners by investigating failures, exposures, and complex loss events to determine their cause and impact. From evaluating building materials, fires, and structural damage to assessing hazardous substances such as asbestos, chemicals, and contaminants, our engineers and scientists deliver clear, defensible findings. We are seeking a dynamic Building Consultant in the tri-state area with estimating experience in the restoration, insurance, and remediation field. This candidate will help us manage various projects focused on estimating large commercial, complex losses. Insurance Adjusters with experience in the construction industry are encouraged to apply, as well as estimators with experience in reconstruction projects, roofing, and/or equivalent work. Key Responsibilities: - Schedule and perform field inspections and necessary site visits to evaluate the scope of work/damage. - Cost estimate medium to large commercial and residential projects using industry standard estimating software (Xactimate) in the restoration, insurance, and remediation field. - Interface with clients and project representa...
