Lube Technician Location: Brookings, OR Department: Truck Shop Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM Average Hours: 50+ Shifts: Typically 10-hour shifts South Coast Lumber Company is seeking a dependable Lube Technician to join our Truck Shop team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on our fleet of trucks and equipment, including lubrication, oil and filter changes, and basic inspections. You’ll play a critical part in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring every vehicle is maintained, reliable, and ready for daily use. Key Responsibilities: - Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine lubrication, oil changes, and filter replacements on company trucks and heavy equipment. - Inspections: Conduct basic visual and functional inspections to identify maintenance or repair needs, and promptly report findings to the shop supervisor. - Fluids & Systems: Check and top off fluid levels, inspect belts and hoses, and ensure equipment is in proper working order. - Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate service logs, documenting all maintenance performed, parts used, and issues observed. - Safety & Compliance: Fol...
