Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a client and family centered care model and in accordance with the vision and values of the organization, this position is responsible for supporting interdisciplinary staff and leadership across the designated Community of Care (CoC) as the adult protection lead. Provides consultation, education, mentorship, complex care planning and clinical guidance within the context of a client and family-centred care model, to ensure practice and organizational compliance with the statutory obligations and regulations of the Adult Guardianship Act (AGA); develops decision support tools and policies, and recommends changes to practice to improve by analysing current literature and national trends. The Adult Protection Clinical Lead provides consultation, mentorship, education and support to staff about all aspects of abuse, whether it be Adult Guardianship, Adult Protection and/or Domestic Violence as applicable to the designated portfolio, and applies knowledge of resources and intervention strategies to assist those impacted by adult abuse, neglect and self-neglect.
