Job description

Lakeside Software is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support the global accounting function, with primary responsibility for month-end close, financial reporting, and operational accounting activities. This role will partner closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate financial records, timely close, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and international requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, multinational environment. Key Responsibilities: Global Accounting & Close: o Support and execute the global month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and close-related analyses o Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness o Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of period-over-period changes Operational Accounting: o Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, and payment support o Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policy o Support payroll accounting, including accruals, reconciliations, and coordination with payroll providers o Support b...
