The Welder is responsible for performing setup on all entry-level welding components that range from similar to dissimilar metals and alloys requiring a high degree of skill and welding technique or involving a considerable number of parts and/or smaller more complicated weldments where alignment, dimensions, and weld quality must conform to strict quality standards To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Day Shift: Monday - Thursday (5:00am - 3:30 pm) *Fridays Off Compensation: $20 - $24/hr. Responsibilities: Tig welding 90% and mig welding 10% using multiple types of materials (steel, galvanized, and a range of stainless) Welding teams of two Associates per project. Properly set up welding machines: Preparation before Welding: 70% consists of ripping and trimming various specs of wire belts. Clean welds to check for imperfections.
