Job Title: Registered Nurse III Department: Primary Care Location: Linden Medical Group (30 Hagen Drive Suite 300 Rochester, NY 14625) Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts between 7:30am-5pm SUMMARY: The R.N. III maintains quality patient care through consistent standards of nursing practice in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Utilizes the nursing process: assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate to execute appropriate individual patient care. Responsible for orientation, training/precepting, and mentoring of other staff on the unit. The R.N. is instrumental in providing an exceptional experience for patient and family. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assessment - Perform initial and ongoing assessment of the patient; demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment and advanced assessment skills; communicate and document assessment with interdisciplinary team; utilize all available resources in order to meet the needs of the patient and family. - Planning & Implementation - Develop and document plan of care, treatment and services; collaborate interdisciplinary health team to deliver care; maintains an appropriate nurse-patient relationship and provides an e...
