POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operating System Engineer II to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating systems, system administration, and troubleshooting. This role involves maintaining and optimizing our operating systems to ensure high availability and performance. This position requires on-call responsibilities and on-site responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of experience is required. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Valid Driver's License required; MCSA Certification or higher preferred. EXPERIENCE: - Minimum of 3 years of experience. In lieu of Bachelor's Degree a total of 7 years of experience is required. - Solid technical background with hands-on experience. - Proficiency in VMware for managing virtualized environments. - Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks. - Experience with Active Directory for managing user accounts and permissions.
