Summer 2026 - Transportation (Bridges) Intern

Job description

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Transportation Intern to join our Transportation team. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days per week in the office. Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to at least 3 months and are available to work full-time. In this role, you will collaborate with senior and junior designers to support the delivery of a wide range of transportation infrastructure projects. Assignments will include work on public transit systems, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, roadway design, and bridge engineering projects, as well as other large-scale public and private infrastructure improvements. This position is well-suited for candidates with a strong interest in transportation and structural engineering, particularly in the planning and design of bridges and related structures. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer for transportation and bridge infrastructure projects.
