Job description

Automation Technician I/II is responsible for traveling to customer sites and completing repairs and installations in a safe and timely manner. This position will troubleshoot and diagnose basic robot movement providing top customer service to all clients of the Company. They will also perform light programming, software updates and assist with maintaining our preventative maintenance programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Communicate and cultivate the Core Values of OSC internally and externally - Safely perform automation repairs according to schedule while in high voltage areas - Perform intermediate software programming, modifications and updates - Estimate product implementation costs and obtain authorization prior to beginning work - Install, repair and trouble shoot offsite robots or parts to ensure operating efficiently - Support company sales goals in accordance with customer needs of automation - Recommend process improvements and best practices to customers - Communicate clearly to internal and external customers regarding the nature of any service or repair - Aid in onsite preventative maintenance programs for ABB - Maintain proper paperwork for all repairs...
