Production Control Lead

Job description

As a Production Control Lead, you are a critical link between planning and manufacturing, responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of production schedules and alignment with engineering and supply chain objectives. You play a key role in driving high-quality, on-time delivery by managing production flow processes across programs. Through close collaboration with the program, design team, procurement, and manufacturing teams, you help ensure the smooth introduction and movement of both new and existing products throughout the production lifecycle. Primary Responsibilities. Independently Lead a team and manage employee performance and behaviors Understand the programs resources and their skillsets to best utilize the team to achieve a high execution rate and to build a quality product Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules based on the IMS and coordinate the flow of materials using Costpoint Manufacturing Orders Create a Manufacturing Order structure that is based on the IMS to communicate percent complete to the customer on a weekly basis Track issues and returns for nonconforming hardware and verify returned products will arrive back on site and not impact p...
