Leidos’ Defense Systems, Small Airborne Effectors Division, is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to work at our Huntsville, AL campus providing support to a variety of conceptual design and integration programs related to missile strike systems and unmanned aircraft. This is a dynamic opportunity in which talented drafters can thrive by producing and maintaining mechanical drawings for multidisciplinary projects in the airborne systems arena. We are seeking a highly motivated, trained, and talented mechanical drafter to work closely with mechanical designers to foster advanced technology programs from the research and development phase to full productization. Primary Responsibilities: Aid mechanical engineers in creating technical drawing packages from mechanical CAD design. Use of standard tolerancing along with GD&T tolerancing to achieve appropriate TDP Level for program needs ranging from level I to III. Ability to manipulate CAD as required to complete drawing package needs.
