Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. - 5+ years of experience within a distribution business. - Experience directly or indirectly leading and influencing teams. Job Summary: Leads a team of Pricing Analysts to develop and utilize data insights in pricing the assortment of a business to business distributor while partnering with stakeholders from other functional teams to ensure that pricing optimizes both sales performance and company profitability. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities - Leads the development and execution of the organization’s price strategy. - Consults and advises senior merchandising leaders on all pricing decisions. - Ensures that competitive insights, data, and price elasticity are elements of price strategy. - Champions company response to market conditions as they impact pricing. - Analyzes sales trends and transactions to ensure pricing meets all market levels. - Partners with peer leaders to develop, test, and implement creative approaches to customer discounts . - Reviews and improves operating processes and performance metrics related to list prices and business performance. - Manages a group or team o...
