Description Markon is seeking a Telecommunications Operations Specialist to support a mission-critical Operations Center environment focused on incident and event management for global communications systems. In this role, you will provide troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational support for satellite, voice, and data communications systems supporting the Sponsor and multiple government agencies. The ideal candidate will help maintain secure and reliable communications infrastructure that supports 24/7 crisis communications and mission operations. Responsibilities: - Provide troubleshooting and operational support for satellite voice/data, landline, and secure/non-secure telephone communications systems - Support a 24/7 Operations Center environment with emphasis on incident response and event management - Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot communications infrastructure, including: - Routers and switches - Servers - Leased-line communications systems - Cryptographic equipment - UHF communications equipment - Monitor and maintain the integrity of multiple high-speed data links - Identify, isolate, and resolve network and communications faults - Develop and maintain net...
