Job description

Overview The Dean of the School of Health Sciences & Practice, is expected to lead the faculty and administration of the School by providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make substantive contributions in their fields and to meet the challenges of a complex and changing health environment. The Dean will be responsible for leading the School to its next level of growth as an established academic enterprise capable of sustaining CEPH accreditation of our public health programs, epidemiology, and bioethics. The Dean shall report to the Vice Chancellor for Graduate and Professional Studies with a dotted line to the Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer, New York Medical College. Responsibilities: - Provide visionary leadership and administrative oversight of the School of Health Sciences & Practice. - Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for the School that will support enrollment growth, enhance student success, and align with the College’s mission, vision and strategic plan. - Ensure compliance with accreditation standards. - Manage enrollment to make the School’s educational programs financially self-sufficient. - Develop a first in class prog...
